High Mowing is a Waldorf school with a curriculum that challenges a student's intellect, imagination, and social responsibility. College-preparatory academics are integrated with a rich program of studio and performing arts. The Naturalist Program offers students the opportunity to encounter nature in a holistic manner. The athletic program includes both competitive and recreational sports. International exchanges are available with Waldorf schools worldwide. The Outdoor Trekking Program, Projects Week, and weekend activities offer off-campus learning.

Hillside School is a small, structured, challenging academic environment for boys in grades 4-9. The school is intentionally kept small, offering a 7:1 student-faculty ratio so that the boys can get the most out of their academic experience. The staff at Hillside are very supportive and caring; they serve as teachers, dorm parents, coaches, and advisors. Hillside staff know the boys closely– their strengths, areas of challenge, and passions. The school's average enrollment is 140 students, with students from 10 countries and 8 states. The community is inclusive, friendly and nurturing which allows the boys to easily make friends and learn about many different cultures and nationalities. Landmark is a coeducational boarding and day school offering a full range of customized programs for students with language-based learning disabilities in grades 2-12, including a residential program for grades 9-12. LCHS stands for Lustre Christian High School. It is a unique educational institution because it serves as both a Christian high school for the community and as a qualified Christian boarding school. The MMA college-prep program has two curricula for both average ability and superior students, to include advanced placement and a dual-credit program. The Middle School concentrates on reading and math improvement skills. Cadets learn to develop personal discipline and organizational skills in a setting that fosters good study habits and ethical behavior. Oakland School is a small boarding and day school for children ages 6-14 with learning disabilities including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, non-verbal learning disabilities or visual and auditory processing disorders. The program also is well-suited to those with ADHD or organizational difficulties. The combination of daily one-to-one instruction, an emphasis on basic skills including Oakland’s specialty of teaching reading, a highly-experienced and nurturing staff and a success-oriented environment has enabled scores of children to reach their academic and personal potential since 1950.

Olney Friends School, established in 1837, is a co-educational college preparatory boarding school for 65-70 students in grades 9 through 12, offering an intellectually challenging program within a supportive Quaker community. The Phelps School is a private boarding and day school for boys in grades six through 12 and a postgraduate year. We're a small school--about 110 students--so we can provide each student with a personalized learning experience.
